Meet the Teacher

Welcome to 3rd grade!  I am so excited to get to know you and your child.  3rd grade is so much fun!  We will be learning so much and working hard.  It is going to be a great year!

I grew up on a dairy farm in the small town of Windthorst, Texas and by small, I mean SMALL—there were only 17 in my graduating class!  I received my degree in International Studies from Texas State University, but I decided education was a better fit for me.  Working with children is such a rewarding job.  My husband Matt and I have been married for 13 years and we have two amazing kiddos, Garrison and Alexandra. Parenthood has been such an awesome adventure! Garrison is in 4th grade this year and Alexandra is in 3rd.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking/baking, crafting, reading, exploring the outdoors, and taking day trips to all the great places in and around Central Texas.
