Dear Parents,

Happy Birthday to Sachin (last Wednesday)!

Thank you to the PTA for providing the faculty and staff with a delicious luncheon Friday.  The Super Bowl goodies will certainly make it on my Super Bowl Party menu next Sunday. These monthly feasts are very much appreciated.

Also, thank you so much to everyone who has donated Clorox/Lysol cleaning wipes and hand sanitizer to our classroom.  These items are used daily and we really appreciate it!

Just a reminder that our class picture will be taken on Thursday, February 1st. Payment envelopes went home in last week's Tuesday folder and are due on or before picture day. Let me know if you need another envelope.

A pink paper will be coming home soon with instructions for bringing in Valentine's Day cards and a decorated Valentine box or bag. We are looking forward to our party on Wednesday, February 14th.

Thank you for your support! I truly appreciate all that you do!

Enjoying your children,
Mrs. McDonald

Dear Parents,

Friday morning, we had an exciting assembly to kick-off this year’s JUMP ROPE FOR HEART campaign. Proceeds raised will benefit the American Heart Association.  Students have information regarding this program in their homework folder.

STEAM Night was a great success and a HUGE thank you to Jillian and Yashica for volunteering to show off our earthquake display! We thoroughly enjoyed taking a glimpse into the classrooms with all of the projects, demonstrations, and displays. Mad Science also provided an engaging and fun way to learn more about Science! We hope you enjoyed the evening, and we are looking forward to next year's STEAM night!

Thanks for everything you do!

Dear Families,

I hope you all having a wonderful winter break. Christmas always reminds me of special times with loved ones.  It is a time when we can enjoy our family and friends.  I definitely took time to count all of my blessings during this holiday season.

Thank you to all who volunteered to help with our winter party! I so appreciate you, our room moms Abby and Farah, and the other 3rd grade room moms for making sure our party was filled with tons of fun.  I am sad that I had to miss it, but I know the kiddos had a great time!

I am extremely grateful for the awesome gifts, goodies, and thoughtful cards from my sweet students, but even more, I am thankful that I have your child in my class. It has been an amazing year so far, and I look forward to continue to learn and grow together in the New Year.

Thanks so much again,

Mrs. McDonald
